Favorite Fabulous Foods for Finals!

It's the middle of April, and maybe a tad to soon to be thinking of all of those dreaded finals that will soon be here! But thanks to Seventeen Magazine, we found five great foods to help make study sessions better, so we just had to share! Check them all out below. Got to our Facebook Page and let us know what your favorite snack to study with is!

Salsa- When you start feeling groggy or reach that point where you've read the same paragraph three or four times, scoop up some salsa! The spicy chile peppers heat up your body and get blood flowing. This gives you the boost of a Red Bull without the jitters from a sugar/ caffeine high!

Peanut Butter and Pretzels- If you find yourself procrastinating, try dipping pretzels in peanut butter or snack on some of those pretzel bites filled with peanut butter. The protein in the peanut butter mixed with the carbs in the pretzels kick your mind and body into high gear!

Berries- Berries are filled with anti-oxidants which can help boost memory power! If you're trying to soak
up your notes, this treat is best!

Dark Chocolate- Guess what? Dark chocolate is actually known to lower your stress hormones! So when you realize that you have another chapter to go or you're doing some last minute cramming, relax with a piece of dark chocolate and you'll find yourself gliding through them with less stress than before!

Walnuts- Walnuts are packed full of omega-3s which help your brain focus. If you're having one of those days where everyone and everything seems to be getting in the way, a handful of these bad boys might do the trick! If you mix them with some healthy cereal or granola, the crunch will also help to keep you more alert!
